[INTRODUCING] THIRSTY THURSDAY WITH FACE+HEEL

Raise your English tea cups to this week’s Thirsty Thursday act, Face+Heel. The Welsh duo comprised of Sinead McMillan and Luke Taylor started working together in 2012 and have released a few EPs since then. They will be releasing their new album Our Prince’s Quarry officially out April 15! We first featured “We Can Swim” from the 11-track album in yesterday’s New Music Wednesday mix. The synth-filled electro-pop gem is the stand out track from Our Prince’s Quarry. It’s an audio glimpse into what you can expect from Face+Heel. Luke explains the process on how this album came together.

“Some of the instrument choices and structures are there to reflect what I was listening to growing up in the 90s in West Wales. It’s both in love with the place and has a sense of resentment at how remote and marginal it is and how every street has a memory of growing up; good or bad.”

Check out “We Can Swim” and stream their new album, Our Prince’s Quarry!
