According to LACMA, “Opening June 9th is …Is James Bond, which presents the opening sequences of all twenty-three 007 films as unique and groundbreaking cinema—filmmaking that is truly as daring as the dashing agent himself.”

“Beginning with “Dr. No,” the opening credits, created by Maurice Binder, have functioned as separate and unique works of art—a ground-breaking exercise of cinema as daring as the title character, calculated to immerse us in the sensibility of 007.”

Personally, I’m a HUGE fan of the Bond opening sequences and REALLY hope LACMA does this one right.

The website is pretty cryptic… which makes me suspicious.
