SLOW COOKED BBQ CHICKEN SLIDERS

When the weather starts to cool and Fall is in the air, I start craving those warm, feel-good, slow-cooked dishes mom used to make. In addition to my go-to beef stew, here’s an easy BBQ Chicken Slider recipe that’ll quickly become a family favorite.

INGREDIENTS 

2 Boneless Chicken Breasts

1/3 cup Brown Sugar

2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce

1/2 cup Italian Salad Dressing

1 cup Sweet Baby Rays’ BBQ Sauce (or your personal favorite)

2 tablespoons Frank’s RedHot Cayenne Pepper Sauce,

King’s Hawaiian Sweet rolls

 

DIRECTIONS

Cut your chicken breasts in half and season both sides with garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Place Chicken in the slow cooker.

In a bowl, combine your brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Italian dressing, BBQ and Frank’s RedHot sauce. Mix well and pour over your chicken breasts.

Cover and cook 3-4 hours on High or 6-8 hours on Low.

Use two forks to shred the chicken and mix back into the sauce.

Serve on a King’s Hawaiian Sweet roll with a slice of onion and your favorite cheese (I like sharp cheddar or a yummy pepper jack)

The leftover chicken is also great in a quesadilla the next day!
